What is Ovidrel®?
Ovidrel® is indicated for the induction of final follicle maturity and early luteinization in infertile women who have been pretreated with ovulation inducing medications as part of an assisted reproductive technology program (ART). It is also indicated for the induction of ovulation and pregnancy in anovulatory infertile patients in whom the cause of infertility is functional and not due to primary ovarian failure.

How Do I Use Ovidrel®?
Here are step-by-step instructions for taking Ovidrel® (choriogonadotropin alfa):

This medication comes in a prefilled syringe.

Carefully remove the needle cap.

With the needle pointing toward the ceiling, flick the side of the syringe to disperse any air bubbles.

With the needle pointing up, gently press on the plunger to remove the air pocket at the top and expel a drop of liquid.

¿Qué es Ovidrel®?
Ovidrel® se indica para la inducción de la madurez folicular final y la luteinización temprana en mujeres infértiles que han recibido tratamiento previo con medicamentos inductores de la ovulación como parte de un programa de tecnología reproductiva asistida (ART, por sus siglas en inglés). También se indica para la inducción de la ovulación y del embarazo en pacientes infértiles anovulatorias, en las que la causa de la infertilidad es funcional y no se debe a una falla ovárica primaria.

¿Cómo utilizo Ovidrel®?

Este medicamento viene en una jeringa precargada.

Cuidadosamente, remueva el capuchón de la aguja.

Con la aguja apuntando hacia el techo, golpee suavemente el costado de la jeringa para disipar cualquier burbuja de aire.

Con la aguja apuntando hacia arriba, suavemente, presione el émbolo para remover la bolsa de aire de la parte superior y expulse una gota de líquido.
